Home buying seminar Dec. 3
MIDDLETOWN – The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development will hold a free financial training workshop for prospective low- and moderate-income home buyers from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 225 Dolson Ave., Suite 104 in Middletown.
Known as the “Money Smart” course, the workshop was developed in partnership with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and is being presented by USDA Rural Development’s Middletown office. The course focuses on developing financial skills and covers four main topics: money management, basic banking services, understanding credit, and home purchasing. Information on USDA Rural Development’s single family housing direct and guaranteed loan programs will also be provided.
Registration is required. To reserve a seat, call the USDA, Rural Development Office in Middletown, N.Y., at 343-1872 no later than Dec. 1

Guess what? That’s not good Enough! Competence, Consistency, & Customer Service is what will count going forward. Our customers deserve a better level of service…and we do our best to deliver.
